The absolute value functions

hi everyone :- yesterday we learned The absolute value functions

 There is two shapes

Basic shape: f (x) = |x|
Shifted shape: f(x) = |x - h| + k

if the graph is shifted, read horizontal shifts (h values) as opposite and read vertical shifts (k values) as is

here is an example:

f (x) = |x|

Vertical Asymptote (VA) x=0

Horizontal Asymptote (HA) y=x

Domain: ( - ∞, ∞)

Range: ( - 0, ∞)

x - intercept: x = 0

y - intercept: y = 0
